Academic calendar and school timings
How the school year is organised, and where to find each campus's timings.
The academic year
The academic session runs from April to March, in line with the practice of schools in Punjab. The session is divided into terms, each ending with a terminal examination and a parent-teacher meeting.
The dated calendar for the current session — including examination weeks, holidays and parent-teacher meeting dates — is published in the Downloads Centre and any change is announced on the notice board.
School timings
Timings differ by campus, and summer and winter timings differ from each other. For that reason timings are published on each campus page rather than here, and each campus page states the date from which its current timings apply:

- Al-Badr Primary School, Usman Colony
Friday and Ramadan
Friday follows a shortened schedule at every campus. Ramadan timings are announced separately each year through the notice board, and do not replace the campus's normal published schedule.
Holidays
The school observes the public holidays notified by the Government of Punjab, together with the school holidays set out in the academic calendar. Unscheduled closures are announced on the notice board and, where urgent, on the strip at the top of this website.
