Students from the middle and secondary classes took part in the campus qiraat and naat competition, judged on pronunciation, memory and composure.
The annual qiraat and naat competition was held at Al-Badr Girls High School, Asad Colony, with participation from the middle and secondary classes.
Entries were judged on pronunciation and tajweed, accuracy of memory, and composure in delivery. The judging panel included members of the campus Islamic Studies faculty.
Competitions of this kind serve a purpose beyond the prize: for many students, standing before the whole school is the first real test of confidence, and it is a test we want them to pass early.
Winners will be recognised again at the annual prize distribution ceremony.
